Women’s Writing Circle: In the Castle of Our Skin with Samantha Wall Fridays :: July 16, 23,30 & August 6th If you too are interested in embarking on a journey of creative truth-telling, spiritual unfolding and conscious co-creation with the divine via the vehicle of writing, please join Samantha Wall, MFA for an upcoming 4-week Women’s Writing Circle session. This workshop will be a supportive journey toward reawakening the feminine voice of genius and creative power. As far back as the Paleolithic era, art illustrates that through the body of woman came life, as well as wisdom, knowledge, and the ability to heal—and she was worshiped for it. Then came hysteria—disturbances of the psychic, sensory, and visceral functions—and feminine genius came to be seen as especially “emotional” and in need of management. This era of subordination is rapidly coming to an end as women all around the globe consciously step forward to usher in a new dream for the planet; one that is centered in the elegant longing of the human heart. Samantha Wall, MFA is a poet, seeker, activist, and mother who is continuously exploring what it means to be human and walk upright and gently on the planet. She was the co-founder and co-editor of the Colorado based literary journal, Sliding Uteri and her work has appeared in Bombay Gin, Tendrel, Transmission, The Four Quarter Review, Antennae and more. She received her MFA in Writing and Poetics at the Jack Kerouac School of Disembodied Poetics at Naropa University, where she has worked and taught for the last 10 years.
